Oaklands Lodge may be exactly what you are looking for. 

We are a small owner-operated hostel in a quiet, (no through traffic), tree lined street on the slopes of Mt. Eden offering affordable accommodation for independent travellers. 

Home away from home
The Lodge is a large two-storied house built in the late Victorian era.   It has been recently renovated and includes a large kitchen, separate dining room/games room, TV lounge as well as a garden BBQ area. 

In our games room you can play games or music or just chat. If you just want to relax, we have a reading room, you can watch TV or sit out in the garden.  

Set in Beautiful Grounds
The hostel is located in a tree-lined oasis of green, over-looking Mount Eden... A great place to chill out with a beautiful view from our lounge and front garden.

Street parking is available.
